Christine Loy

biography

Christine is a vocalist, pianist, worship leader, vocal coach,  teacher, and music director with a passion for people.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from California State University at Northridge.  She is a professional vocal coach trained in Somatic Voiceworks(TM) the Loverti method in CCM styles.       She has done extensive solo and choral work over the years with  Centenary Worship Orchestra, Northridge Singers, Nashville Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and special events with Donna Summer and more recently with Capriccio Columbus.   

 

 Christine started leading worship and sharing her gift of music as a teenager in Southern California.  She has led worship and directed choirs in churches across the country for over thirty-five years.  Her passion for the Lord is contagious and fuels her desire for authentic congregational worship.  

 

For the last 16 years, she has served as the Director of Music at New Hope Church where she inspires, trains, and encourages worship teams,  worship choirs, and youth in both Modern worship and Tradition styles.  She is a gifted vocal coach and mentor to worship singers of all ages, voice students, and worship leaders.  

 

In addition,  Christine served as Pastor of Worship and Music at Apostles Anglican Church and Music Associate at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington, KY.   She spent several years on the faculty at Centenary School of Music as well as in her own private voice and piano studio.   Christine lives in Powell OH with her husband of 30 years.
